BOV 1st Division - Matchday 1 Round-Up
Andrea Borg had a hand in five of the goals as Msida Saints thrashed SGB Salesjani 6-0.

MSIDA SAINTS 6-0 SGB SALESJANI
Sending a man off did not slow Msida Saints down in the slightest. Already three goals clear at the Żebbuġ Ground, they lost Brendan Borg to a red card on 59 minutes but bounced back with two more goals within a couple of minutes.
Andrea Borg helped himself to both to finish off a 6-0 rout of SGB Salesjani and cap the most productive individual afternoon of the week.
Borg's was a remarkable contribution. He laid on three of the first four goals - for John Ishaya on 34, Gift Chukwuemeka Ndubuisi on 40 and Klajdi Qose on 47 - before scoring himself on 66 and again on 68, the second set up by Ndubuisi.
Qose had opened the scoring on 27 from Mustapha Isah Abdullah's pass and finished with two of his own.
The Man of the Match award was never in doubt.
GŻIRA EXALT 3-1 MRIEĦEL DEVON
Gżira Exalt also had a double act to thank, and his name was Linares Andres Felipe Aguilera.
Nino Marlon Steven Quiroga put the hosts ahead on 18 with Zvezdan Vukovic the provider, only for Royter Degiorgio to level ten minutes later after Noel Tabone's ball.
Aguilera settled it after the interval, striking on 51 and adding a third on 63 from IIlia Zhuchynin's pass for a 3-1 win.
SLIEMA WOLVES 1-2 MADLIENA MALETH ALBION
Madliena Maleth Albion came from behind to beat Sliema Wolves 2-1.
Ofuowoicho Sylvester Kingsley had given the Wolves an early lead on 13, Locht Yenti Renaud De supplying, and that was still the score at the break.
Then came Abd Errazaq El. He drew Madliena level on 39 and put them in front on 42, two goals in three minutes that decided the afternoon.
PAOLA KORDIN 1-1 MOSTA LEGION
The week's only stalemate came at St. Venera Ground, where Paola Kordin and Mosta Legion shared the points.
Stefi Cale put the home side ahead on 25, converting Kyle Eman Bellizzi's pass, but Balarezo Renato Enrique Garcia levelled on 47 after Leighton Pace had picked him out.
Fifteen goals across four opening-round fixtures, then, with four players scoring twice - and one of them ending the day with three assists as well.
